As I get older the things that make me happy and give me peace get simpler, like when I was this age. This beautiful little girl is Brenin, my 6-going-on-40-year-old Granddaughter. Once a week I get to spend time with this sweet thing, and she is ready to soak up anything I send her way.
Today she decided she would learn how to knit. It didn't take her long, and she was doing it all on her own. She is knitting a scarf for "a poor person with a cold neck". (wink)
So sweet...that girl's changing my world too, and I know you're changing her's. I know if given the choice of going to Grandma & Grandpa's or Disneyland, there would be no contest and her bag would be packed for G&G's. She's so lucky to have an amazing grandma who teaches her to knit and watches Abott & Costello with her and all of the other wonderful things you do together. Precious moments!
ReplyDeleteIf everyone took time to look at the world through the eyes of a child, our world would be so much better!
ReplyDeleteAwwww, she is precious!! Someday, I'm gonna get me one of those. I hope it is a girly girl because I never had one of those. My wonderful daughter was all about frogs and dirt. Enjoy her!!
