Sid update

The oncologist gave Sid two months to live without any treatment.  With chemo he has a 70% chance to survive.  The rub is that Sid has a weak heart, and the chemo is hard on his heart, so please pray that he will be able to tolerate the chemo.  Those of you praying for Sid already, I can't thank you enough.  He had his first treatment last week and got kind of sick.  He has a bad taste in his mouth and is due to lose his hair this week.  But so far, he is doing well and tolerating the chemo.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.  "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." James 5:16  My bible's footnote says that Effective prayer is characterized by earnestness, fervency and energy.  I know that many of you are prayer warriors by your messages you have been sending.  Bless you for your kindness and prayers.
